After Wednesdys hockey match, i set the camera up with the Nikon SB600 Speedlight, but nothing happened so had to abandon its use and ramp up the iso instead. Looking at it later, the test button does fire the tube, but it seems to be cracked so all you get is a little flicker of light in the corner. Looking on the net a Nikon repair will cost £100 plus. You can fix it yourself but risk the chance of death, not a good move. By good fortune a friends dad will be able to fix the unit, so part has now been ordered from the states for $17.
