Can we purchase images from this site?
All images are ©copyrighted and have been taken by me, so yes photos can be purchased. For full prices and delivery times please see my Pricelist.
Do you hold a current CRB certificate?
Yes I hold two; one with the Scouts movement and one through the EIHA
Has any of your work been published?
Virtually every week I have photographs from the Telford Tigers matches published in the Shropshire Star and the Telford Journal newspapers. Also I have had work published in ‘Professional Photographer’ magazine and Shropshire life. This is in addition to various Sports websites here and within the USA.
What Camera equipment do you use?
I always believe that the photographer sees and takes the photograph, the camera just captures what I see, but to answer the question my allegiance is to Nikon equipment.
Weddings
Do you cater for formal weddings alongside reportage?
Absolutely, I like to think that my clients only want a limited number and I always strive to complete them in 15-20 minutes. But yes, formals have their place for those clients who want them and I am more than happy to oblige.
Do you travel?
Yes. For all weddings where the action takes place less than 25 miles from Telford, Shropshire (by road), travel is free. Over 25 miles I do have to charge for time and expenses.
How do we book you?
A signed contract and a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the chosen package secures your date. Once booked and the cheque has cleared I'm yours for the day, final payment is required one week prior to the actual wedding. I encourage all my clients to meet me first. But I understand that this isn't always possible when you might live a fair distance away.
Are you insured?
Yes covered for both Professional indemnity and public liability, wouldn’t contemplate doing anything without these two on board
Do you carry backup equipment?
I have two Bodies; a Nikon D7000, used as my prime with this backed up with a Nikon D80. Three lenses and two flash guns, with loads of memory cards, two been written to concurrently.
Portraits
Do you have a studio?
I have a small garage studio, capable of taking photographs of a couple or a single person
Do you travel?
Yes I will travel to visit client’s homes, or for ‘environment’ portrait shoots within Telford, past this I do charge a small fee for travel expenses
Can I have portraits taken in my home?
Yes you can and with very young children it may be a better approach as the surroundings are familiar. I would need a space of ft x ft for the backdrop and light setup, and access to a wall socket.

Are you insured?
Yes covered for both Professional indemnity and public liability, wouldn’t contemplate doing anything without these two on board
Corporate Events/ Charity Balls
What equipment do you use?
Cameras are Nikon, with a full set of studio lights, White backdrop system, Laptop and dye sub printer
Can I view the images on the night?
Yes, all images are instantly relayed to a laptop for you to see, we can then try different poses or lighting effects if required
Can I purchase prints on the night?
Yes, Prints are printed out on a dye sub printer to a size of 10”x8” and are dry touch straight away, same system as used in boots instant photo kiosks.
Do you use more than one photographer?
Yes, normally two photographers attend, this way we can keep the waiting time down, whilst one photographer reviews the images and provides the prints, the other photographer can concentrate on setting the next set of images up.

What sports do you cover?
Any, although my expertise currently lies within Ice hockey and Football, I would feel confident in undertaking any other sports commissions
Do you travel?
Yes, within the west midlands travel would be free, further than this I do charge a small fee for travel expenses
